Amy, 18: ‘I was shocked – I didn’t think I was going to get four A*s. You never know how well you’ve done, it’s been amazing.’

Rebecca M, 18, of Ilkley, who only joined BGS in Year 12, was delighted to be heading to Oxford University to study Biology after A*s in Biology, Chemistry, Economics and Geography. ‘It’s been a weird couple of years with all the disruption, but the teachers have been so supportive,’ said Rebecca. ‘I didn’t know what results to expect today so it’s a great feeling to get four A*s. Getting into Oxford was the dream and I’m excited for the next stage of my life.’
