Top effort by pupil at the British Biathlon Championships

2017-04-13T20:06:57+00:00 November 28th, 2016|
Top effort by Eleanor Dawson (J6H) who represented Clock House, Bradford Grammar Junior School, at the British Biathlon Championships at the weekend, 26 November.

Ellie, 10, qualified for the event in the regional round in York in October. At the national competition, she improved her ranking by 50 places, finishing in 34th position, by running 800m in less than 3 minutes and swimming 50m in just over 37 seconds. The result should ensure she qualifies for the British Schools Biathlon Championships held at Crystal Palace National Sports Centre in March.

The Biathlon Championships, organised by Pentathlon GB, attract hundreds of competitors from schools across the country.
